Abre la imagen con gimp guardas en formato jpg al 100% de calidad lo reabres, seleccionas la barita "Selecion difusa" luego en la parte superior clicas "Capa" - Mascara y añadir mascara de capa. Agarras tu lapiz tienes que tenerlo en colo negro y pintas las zonas que quieras difuminar al transparente. Cuando termines vuelves a capas y aplicas la mascara.

Listo guardas en formato PNG y puedes disponer de tu archivo ..
