Baby girl name Saoirse?

Saoirse is an Irish name with an Irish spelling and pronunciation so unless you are of an Irish heritage it's weird. It would be like an Irish family naming their son the Hispanic name Jesus or a family from Egypt randomly naming their son the French name, Francois. As for the name, I personally don't like it because I think that it sounds quite ugly when said aloud.

It's a very beautiful name, although some people may have trouble pronouncing it at first. Summer is really popular at the moment. There is also an actress named Saoirse Ronan.
