BARNRAISING #2: July 17, 2009 Leaderboard?

I don't think this is correct, Redgold had already 29 completed tasks yesterday. This contest is very frustrating for non US, non high belt contesters. I have been watching my max four completed tasks almost the entire (EU) day waiting to be checked.

I could have done a ton of tasks in that time. I am bailing out of the competition. I'll do a few here and there, but I won't be challenging Redgold over the weekend.

Congratulations to all of the leaders! But I probably would've had more if it wasn't for some issues that I've been having with Mahalo lately... When I go to complete a task and I finish it up and press "submit," it never really loads. The loading wheel just keeps going around without doing anything.So far, this has cost me two tasks... But oh well, right?

I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. But anyways, congratulations to all!

Thanks mithrandir.... I have redone the same one twice tonight...the loading wheel just keeps spinning.... I looked for what you mentioned BUT I don't see anything like what you are talking about... it is 3am and I give.... I will try again tomorrow morning... I am hoping that when I get back on here tomorrow someone will help me get this page loaded.... maybe the third time will be a charm... if anyone out there can help me I would really appreciate it... it gets frustrating... typing the same thing over and over.... and I would really like to get it submitted and evaluated, the contest is kind of important to me...Goodnight... and Mahalo.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
