Well, people are always (or at least right now) going to push heterosexual labels on anyone who is femme if they're a girl or masculine if they're a guy. It's sort of what straight ppl do best. Some queer ppl do it themselves.

But I guess you could first of all react entirely unimpressed by the guys who hit on you rather than humor them (IF you are not saying you are). You could also then complain about them being d-bags afterwards. Don't say "oh man I'm so sick of guys hitting on me" because some people will see that as a humble-brag.

But just act like you don't even recognize they are actually hitting on you and just pretend like they're just bugging you. Eventually they will hopefully stop bothering you so much and ppl will maybe stop assuming you're straight. Not guaranteed.

You could also play up the flirting a little more with girls. Esp in groups comprised of a mixture of girls and guys. This will show people that no, you aren't just a naturally flirty person, you are just naturally flirty with GIRLS.

Because you dig girls. I think a lot of ppl consider the rainbow stuff a little tacky, but that's up to you. Desperate times, right?

But aside from that you could up your more counter-culture vibe that you've already established with your red hair. For example, graphic T-shirts that are strongly feminist or vaguely (and comically) misandrist. As in "Fries Before Guys" or something.

I saw a bi youtube girl wearing it. (check out the channel Just Between Us it's hilarious). Whenever I see that kind of stuff the very least I assume is that the person is "straight not narrow" but often just because everyone assumes other people are straight I just think "oh.

She's probably bi or something" because there isn't harm in thinking just maybe. Other queer accessories include hats, men's wear watches, and other androgynous things. You don't have to go butch you could just mix in some gender neutral things that hey look really great on women without seeming to take away femininity IMO.

Like chuck shoes, longer shorts. You can also talk more about girls than guys. For example tell everyone how great your favorite actress is in a movie.

Casually note how pretty someone is. Bring up queer culture/media. Orange is the New Black is a start but not enough because everyone likes that show including my dad who doesn't really support marriage equality.

But it's something. And like other ppl say associate with other queer ppl.

I think you will have to make friends with a lesbian and then the word will get around.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
