I tend to play on the computer until I get drowsy then I go and lay down. I tend to get very restless if I lay down before I am sleepy. I try to do quiet and calming things on the computer before bedtime so that I can get sleepy enough to fall asleep.

Sometimes I miss time it and I end up asleep before I leave the desk so I startle awake and then go lay down. That probably is not a great idea for relaxing and getting sleepy but it is how I do best. Sometimes I will lie down and read a book and this will let me relax enough to fall asleep.

I probably should look into creating a nighttime routine so that I can get a full night sleep. There is one website that gives a few hints, they said to not watch intense programs before bedtime and do not pay bills or anything that might get you stimulated or over anxious. The website says to dim the lights and do some yoga poses or practice ten minutes of deep breathing exercises and meditation.

My nighttime ritual after everybody else in my family has gone to bed already consists of spending about 30 to 60 minutes in my living room to watch one of my recorded TV shows, and sometimes that even does the trick if I am overly tired. If I am still awake after the show has ended, I typically go upstairs to my bedroom and continue reading one of my many books that I all begin reading at the same time. LOL.

I usually get about 5 to 6 pages into the book before my eyes shut down on me automatically and I awake at some point during the night, book still in my lap and lights still on in my room. Reading has always worked in putting me to sleep. I discovered that secret during my college years, when hundreds of pages worth of textbooks would lie next to me crinkled and smeared with highlighter after I had once again dozed off on top of them.LOL.

Until he falls asleep at night. Which I regret. (if so, sorry!).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
