Black ops is not likely going to be one of the free download-able games we are suppose to get for psn downtime?

The person who told you it's going to suck has a good reason for doing so, and that's because Modern Warfare 2 was a catastrophic failure. Black Ops seems to fix many of the things that were wrong with MW2, though, so it looks like it has potential to be a very good thing. They're either doing something very right, or very wrong with this game.

Some new features that I've HEARD of: -Dropshots are fixed so that you lunge now(?) -Quickscoping is supposed to be not possible or harder at least(?) -Nazi zombies confirmed -Vast character customization options -Lotsa guns -Split Screen online play will now work with guests and other profiles without complications involving levels (meaning you and your friend can both play an online match while on the same xbox 360 at the same time) -New killstreaks that actually look like they'll introduce a few new strategies (unlike MW2 where they just added like 5 new helicopters that all essentially did the same thing but looked different) -Completely customizable emblems (this opens up a lot of doors for creativity, but a lot for gradeschool humor as well...) -New CoD points system for buying new stuff -Wager mode It looks like a promising game, but they need to make these new features work.

Well I just asked my friend, because he got it last week. I don't know why he got it early. But anyway he said mw2 is better.

You cant quick scope in black ops, and he said pistol can take 2 mags to kill one person. And btw he also said there's a freaking 15th lobby again. Bummer.. I was expecting it to be better.

Advantage of black ops is that good campaign, and lot of multiplayer modes, and emblem customization. Anyway buying it won't hurt, just to waste time, and I will know lot of people will buy it. And search it on youtube and judge it you yourself.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
