The barber is the "one who shaves all those, and those only, who do not shave themselves." Does the barber shave himself?
2) A prisoner was given a chance to gain his freedom. Only this time, there is a maze of doors which he has to navigate through. There are three types of guards in total.
(1) Truth, he will always speak the truth. (2) Lie, he will always lie to you. (3) Random he will either lie or tell you the truth.
Whether he will lie or tell the truth is in the sense of a coin flipping style. Basically, heads=truth, tails=lie. Now, only two of them are in each room.
The combination varies. Truth-Truth, Truth-Lie, Truth-Random, Lie-Lie, Lie-Random, Random-Random. Each guard knows what type of guard he is, and know what type of guard the other is.
They also know what state the Random guard is in at that moment when he answers, (If the Combination is Random-Random, the guards will still know each other's state). Now, in his cell, there are two doors. In front of them are two guards.
Now, you very well know the possible combinations. Behind one leads back to his original cell. Behind the other is the next cell in the maze.
The next cell is always two doors leading out of it, a guard stands in front of each one. The combination also varies. There are 6 cell doors that he has to go through in the maze.
However, if he messes up more than two times, he gets executed. Now, he is aloud to ask two questions every room. He has to stick with the same two questions for the rest of the maze.
What two questions should he ask?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
