Britains nuclear weapons, why does britain need agreement from the USA if they ever wanted to fire off a nuke?

The UK can and possibly will use nuclear weapons against a rogue state IF British troops are attacked by WMDs. The chances of us EVER using these weapons without first consulting our main ally in the field, ie the USA are slim to none existent. There is no way we will use nukes without consulting the USA or NATO first.

No part of the deal with Buying from America the UK remains an Independent Nuclear Power when we First Purchased the Trident the USA wanted Controll the UK said we will build Our own the USA backed down even when I was in Germany we Rented 16 Nukes from the USAF to Fit our Canberra's But we decided when and where they Would be Used Not the USA.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
