Much of the blame attached to Bush for 9/11 results from his inattention to the warnings about an impending attack, the demotion of the counterterrorism unit, the failure to include counterterrorism as a priority in the DOJ budget and his general neglect of the emphasis that was put on terrorism and dismissal of it as if it were a Clinton problem. That was just inexcusable. No one blames Bush for the attacks per se because he may have been unable to prevent them even if he had been vigilant but we'll never know.
The oil spill is not Obama's fault. A case however could be made that President Obama should have had massive reviews of every single regulation passed under the Bush administration, should have fired all of the Bush anti-regulation regulators even down to the lower levels and should have instituted much stricter oversight in every regulatory agency because it was known that oversight under Bush was extremely lax. I doubt however that any of that could have made a difference in this case.
No. One is National security which is under the Presidents DIRECT supervision, he owns the military and all the intelligence agencies, they work for him, he has absolute authority. President Bush campaigned specifically on restoring the military and intelligence, but he went right to work trying to give the wealthy an even bigger piece of the pie, 80% wasn't good enough.
President Obama isn't responsible for what happens a mile underwater on an oil rig owned and ran by private industry, the industry the g0p spent the last 20 years deregulating and calling for even more deregulation.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
