They can generally fix scars. If it's bigger than that, something structural or muscular, then there's probably little a surgeon could do. And even if they did, they'd do so only if it was so unsightly as to seriously interfere with your life, because that kind of surgery is difficult and dangerous.
I agree that I would rather be lopsided than dead as well, MarshallO, but, this bulge is affecting my self image quite a bit. I am really happy for you that your kidney surgery was successful and wish you many years of good health! I do intend to consult a plastic surgeon about this.
This is not a small bulge, it is BIG. Of course to me it is BIGGER than to others. I do know this is a common problem after surgeries, and 3 in the same place, without a doubt, makes it worse.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
