Yes they can be repaired in most cases or if you have insurance they may offer a full replacement.
If so, Apple has made it hard to repair them yourself by changing the screws to a torx head, I believe.
Same thing happened to my iPhone 3GS. I ordered an $8 screen repair kit from Amazon, which came with everything I needed. It took me 3 hours to change it though, and was the hardest thing I've ever done.It required me to almost completely disassemble the iPhone and put it back together.
One of the tiny screws stripped out so I had to drill it out with a tiny drill bit.
Your best bet would be to schedule an appointment with the Genius Bar at Apple Store. I think they can fix them very quick. If they can't they might just give you a new phone for free - because their main job is to get you in and out in less than 15 minutes.
I have had two cracked ipod touch screens repaired by a place called digiexpress. I had to complete a form on their website, and send both ipod touches to them (in PA, I think). They both came back repaired and in excellent condition.
I got them back very quickly and even with shipping it cost me a lot less than any repair places around where I live (Chicago). I think the Apple store can also repair cracked ipod touch/iphone screens, it just costs a lot more.
Actually you can repair it but it will just need $$$. However, if you have your insurance covered, you can get it done free of charged.
I have seen videos and tutorials on how to possibly fix it yourself via a google search on how to repair it, but if you want to play it safe...
I've had one repaired by a non-Apple company (Apple just replaces the handsets), and while it did work, I have to say it was obvious when you used it that it wasn't "quite right". That is, it worked, but wasn't quite as responsive as it should have been, and it didn't fit perfectly - you could tell it had been replaced.
It cost me about half the price of a replacement handset, and I'd say it would have been better to pay for a replacement in the end. Moot point, as I dropped it in a puddle 2 weeks later and the whole thing stopped working.
Yep, it can, but depends on the model, Iphone 3g is much easier and cheaper accessories to replace rather than iphone 4 which require authorize apple service center.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
