Can a man make money from a divorce settlement? Or do only women get to take half of everything?

Not in my bitter experience anyway, but hopefully individual circumstances would have to be a bargaining point for the legal people.

Sure! If she is making more money than him, or comes from a family who had money, or if she owns more property, then he will make money out of the divorce. It all depends on if they had a prenuptial, how long they have been together, and if there are kids involved.

Men have even received alimony-but depends on where you live. Remember years ago when Elizabeth Taylor married some guy that she met at treatment. He was a blue-collar worker and she had millions.

It apears to me you got married to be taken care of ,when you want to make money off the divorce settlement. She may in up giveing you half of it but do you think it's right to get half if she put more in . If the shoe was on the other feet you would'nt want to.It depens on how long you were in the mariage,and if you worked or took care of the kids or cleaned puting what you has in.

If not you get what you put in. Anything else shows you used her and now wants to hurt her. You need a CHARACTERISTIC check.

I started a lawn service along my husband had a job. My business grew big encough for him to quit his job and jour me . In the 8yr of my business I got sick so I need all the paper work was'nt long he started takening money out he would not explain.
