Can a person cause vagus nerve stimulation without spending thousands of dollars on a Vagal Nerve Stimulator?

Many people would benefit from a VNS (vagal nerve stimulator) to treat depression or seizures but can not afford the device or the surgery to have it implanted. Insurance does not pay for it. I would like to experiment with other ways to stimulate the vagus nerve.

I am a nurse who wants to find a more cost-effective alternative to the VNS and help people with depression and/or siezures. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
