Can anyone give me a reason to vote for Mitt Romney BESIDES the fact that he's not Obama?

My 90 year old father is a lifelong Republican, but he he so disgusted by the right wing that has become prominent in the GOP that he is voting Obama. He feels the obstructionism in the last 4 years has been hurtful to the country. What is interesting is that he has always been a Romney fan.

He is very disappointed in Romney's flip flopping.

They will, most likely, vote for Romney because he is not President Obama. One of my peeves about people is lying. I know it's politics and expected.

But I have watched Romney all year long. I heard for myself the lies he has told to convince people to vote for him. The one that had the most impact on me was the 47% remark.

He said that because he didn't think the rest of the un-entitled population would ever hear it. So if people forget what he said yesterday because today they like the new Mitt, then we are in for a very bumpy ride. The last post should remember that the Republicans want to take away your birth control, abortion rights and programs to help teen Mothers.

So what, we will have starving, homeless teen Mothers and babies?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
