Can anyone recommend Windows Vista-compatible music software other than iTunes? I loved MusicMatch, but?

I loved MusicMatch, but... MusicMatch has compatibility issues with Vista, so I'm not going to install it (and it's been acquired by Yahoo, so no more updates will be provided). I liked MusicMatch's interface, and even though I use iTunes for some stuff (like syncing to my iPod), I'd prefer to use another jukebox software that enables me to make playlists, burn and copy CDs, sort my music in lots of different ways, and connect to the internet to pull file info for my music. What software do you like?

microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/playe... 11 is built into Vista and I have found it to be an excellent organizer of my music (30 Gig or so) and manager for both local and for my Zen player. It's easy to make playlists and download to the Zen and create CDs... I love it. Sources: My suggestion .

I recommend winamp. Chgoeditor I like winamp, its light, cuts and plays music, cuts and plays video, sorts and create music playlists, a huge stack of plugins to play off types of video and music outside the mainand its skinnable. I have been using 6 versions from windows 95 onwards and never had any problems.

I'm currently running it on vista, but I had to spend a bit of time on some drivers to update my motherboard and sound card drivers, but it works a treat. Hope that helps. Scope_creep .

WMP I used to use Musicmatch as well. After upgrading to vista, I've found that Windows Media Player is actually really good at helping me organize my music. The interface is really easy to use, the ripping features make it extremely easy to get my CD's in MP3 format and it's also very easy to sync music to my MP3 player.

Give windows media player a try, I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
