Can anyone tell me if it is worthwhile to buy "New Moon"?

I listened to the unabridged audiobook and found the experience to excruciatingly boring and unpleasant. Bella spends most of the time moping, and by the end of the book a discerning reader will want to strangle all of the main characters. If you really enjoyed the first book and like the idea of more love sick teens, depressive angst and an improbable plot, than go ahead and buy New Moon.As you can tell, I hated the Twilight books, but I actually did give them a chance.

I've enjoyed other vampire fiction and even was OK with the teenage themed and somewhat silly "Buffy the Vampire" TV show, so I have nothing against fantasy or vampires. What got to me about Twilight was how throughout the entire series Bella is mostly useless and spends her time pining over Edward, moping and bemoaning her circumstances while her 300 year old boyfriend stalks her, controls her and bosses her around. Since it has a rabid fan following, a lot of people apparently like this sort of thing so perhaps you may too.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
