I believe you have to cancel the contract inside the 30 day period. After 30 days and you're locked in (penalties for early cancellation). Sometimes you can get around return periods by NOT accepting the Terms of Use.

Returns based on not accepting Terms of Use are different from customer satisfaction. It may take talking to a supervisor to get around it but most people (even those who service the contracts) know or understand the Terms of Use exceptions.
