Can Easter on Lake Hartwell cure Spring Fever?

By Jeremy King, Staff writer For seven years, a flock of competitive sailors have gathered at Lake Hartwell for a race to break the monotony of winter. They call it "Spring Fever" and it is the second biggest catamaran race in the country. The regatta is open to catamaran sailboats in several classes from 14 to 20 feet in length.

The only larger race for catamarans is in California, so organizers said most of the multihull sailors on the east coast prefer to come to this event because it's closer. But many participants said that other factors matter more than the distance. "We come here for the food," said Stephen Hughes.

The event is sponsored by the Honeybaked Ham company, and the sailors ate the company's ham, turkey and desserts for several of their meals through the event. "They take such good care of us here," Hughes said. "Nigel Pitt and Ernie McFadden do so much to make us feel at home.

This is really a social event as much as a racing event." Parties at Pitt's house on ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
