OK, I'm going to go against the majority here and say that YES, if set up properly, guinea pigs can live outside. I'm assuming your male is neutered, and if he isn't I suggest you either get him neutered or at least keep him separate as you don't want to add to the already huge over-population of guinea pigs. So... You need to get a LARGE, SECURE hutch and put in in the run you have made.
The run must be completely predator-proof. That means it must have a roof over the top and small holes in the wire. Predators will get through even tiny holes if they are hungry!
Next... don't put wire on the bottom of the cage as this is VERY bad for guinea pigs' feet and can cause serious health problems. If you're worried about predators such as foxes digging in, you could put wire IN the ground about a foot deep so that they can't get through. And, importantly...ONLY let your guinea pigs out of the hutches and into the run when you are home and can keep an eye on them!
Lock them up when you aren' ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
