If you were an employee, and he paid you, and he paid his unemployment insurance, and he took out taxes, and sent you a tax form at the end of the year, then you're eligible for unemployment. It doesn't matter if he was your husband. But if you were paid as a freelancer or under the table, then you were not an employee and therefore no unemployment.

Oh, keep in mind, your husband will have to approve your claim. He will get a form from unemployment. If he denies you, you then will have to appeal.
