Can I color my dark brown hair back to its natural color after getting awful, unwanted bleach blonde highlights?

My hair is dark brown almost black, and I wanted suttle highlights. Instead I ended up with a mess of bleach blonde chunks of hair that are now fading out! Needless to say I never want to return to the salon that caused this mess!

It can be done however highlighting(bleach) is FOREVER! UNTIL ITS GROWN OUT & CUT OFF. No matter what kind of color you put on your hair, it will bleed through after 12-15 shampoos, so use semi perm hair color WITHOUT peroxide, since you'll have to do this at least once every 4-6 weeks until its all cut off.

The trick with doing a reverse, is not to go GREEN. I have corrected hundreds of clients, who decided to use whatever kind of dark shade to cover bleach unless its a GOLD BASE, or it will turn GREEN, that is a GUARANTEE. My natural color is almost black, and I was PLATINUM blond for many years...all over.My hair was so WHITE I had to fill it with RED BEECH color mousse by GOLDWELL BEFORE putting the brown on.

If this is just chunks, and they are faded....go get a SEMI PERM BOXED HAIRCOLOR in LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN. Remember what ever color the SWATCH shows, its normally TWICE AS DARK....so LIGHT GOLDEN BROWB should be fine. Your hair WILL NOT BE GOLD...it just helps to neutalize the GREEN.

If your hair is in poor condition. Wet your hair & towel dry it(DO NOT WASH IT) THEN PUT a heavy conditioner(Kpac, Redken, Hayashi 911(the best) comb it thru your hair & put the color on top of it, this will help to fill any porous spots as well as protect your hair. Also make sure you get a good shampoo, and use a shampoo with color in it(like ARTEC) EVERY 3RD SHAMPOO, THIS WILL HELP TO KEEP THE COLOR IN LONGER BEWTEEN RE-DYES.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
