I want to get blonde and red highlights without the blonde turning to pink?what should I do...my hair is dark brown?

1 Don't let your cousin or your neighbor with the home salon do it. Go to a pro with good recommendations. And if you ain't one yourself, don't you do it either.

This will have have to be done by a professional. Doing a two tone highlight is not the issue, but when it needs to be redone... you will need someone to highlight & lowlight(the red) on the exact same hair..... It shouldn't turn pink...that should only happen when you use a red shampoo too keep the highlights bright, sometimes if the RED shampoo gets on the blonds...it casts tint...the same with the little old ladies that have the blue hair.....they have used SHINY SILVER or someother blue shampoo for their Gray hair and it grabbed the blue violet color.....I have to tell you...red fades extremely quickly...of course with your brown hair, they will have to bleach then deposit red.....unless your willing to have a highlight/ with a lowlight dark red(like mahogony which is pretty) then they wouldn;t have to highlight that part of the hair....if you do this remember BLEACH is forever! Until its cut off....no matter what you use to cover bleach, it will always bleed thru until its actually cut off....with red in your hair you will need sunblock or a hat for outdoor.NO pool or beach without a cap........your highlights get turn green and the red will turn brassy.....red is very pretty when its well cared for and well done, but if its not it turns into a orangy brassy unflattering reddish tone.

Alot of people do not realize Bleaching the hair is not like coloring the hair---you can't just decide you don't like it.....once its bleached its a done deal.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
