You will always be married until you formally file for divorce, it doesn't matter if you are in the UK or not. You could be outside the UK for the next 50 years and still be married if you do not formally file for divorce Move out of the house. Once you are no longer living together for at least 2 years you do not need her consent to divorce.
You don't have to leave the country, in fact it's easier if you stay in the UK living in separate residences the whole time. Speak to a solicitor, most will give an initial consultation for free and will advise on the steps to take. But once you have been physically separated and living in separate residences for at least 2 years you can file a no fault divorce and do not need her consent.
The faster you move out, the faster you can get a divorce.
You could stay out of the uk for the rest of your life, you will still be married though until you get a divorce,and if you die while you are away all your stuff is hers!
