I would say no. Most libraries use special readers where the book is erased off your computer after two weeks or so. With Kindle, you keep the book for life (if you want).

But any book you can get in the PDF or TXT formats can be read on the Kindle.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
