Can I still go to a college/university with a tech prep diploma, even if I scored high on the SAT/ACT?

Many grads of Vocational high school programs go to university. If it is a gh School diploma you are eligible. The problem you may find is colleges requiring science with a lab or advanced placement courses for certain programs or institutions.

And when you get in some programs might be difficult. I one heard student talking at the Minnesota Institute of Technology (University of Minnesota) saying their was no way to graduate in 4 years in the program without advanced placement math in high school. In fact, taking math (and getting into every math course you need) each semester is is possible but vary difficult.So if someone is trying to talk you into a tech prep program in high school, just say no.

Take the advanced placement and let them find someone else to dig ditches. Free Open University, Collegiate Independent Study or some other open school with low entry standards and no quality accreditation may end up being you only path.
