You can use any Verizon Wireless phone on the Verizon network but you can not use a phone that is from another network because they are not compatible and for example AT&T and T-mobile are GSM while Sprint and Verizon are CDMA. So you can use a variety of Palm, Blackberry and Android phones most of which will require a $29.99 monthly data package in addition to your regular plan. The iPhone is coming out in February but from my understanding at first it is only going to be offered to a select number of customers and current customers will get priority.
You do have to have a data plan with the iPhone as you do with all smartphones with Verizon and it will have to be the $29.99 and not any of the smaller packages.
Apparently, the answer is no. I tried to activate my mom's old Verizon Motorola device- and I mean five years or so old, not-smart, talk & text only phone- last week. They got it "activated" at the local store, sent a test text & it went thru, made a test call & splat. No go.
Spent an hour & 20minutes watching the rep talk to coworkers & tech people on his phone before they told me, "It's impossible to set up a calling plan on this phone, it can't be done. " I was trying to switch phones to save money but when they tried to reactivate my LG Vortex, my plan was not available! It cost me $10 more per month to undo what they did!
Definitely have the rep research EVERYTHING with you standing there BEFORE you let them attempt the switch.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
