Can lice be living in my carpets?

To be honest, lice can be in the carpets. I am sorry to hear your daughter has lice again. It can be super frustrating.

Here is what I suggest. Use the lice shampoo on your daughter, and every one else in the house. Follow the directions carefully, paying close attention to combing any lice eggs out of the hair, completely.

You also need to wash all bedding, towels, combs, brushes and clothing that has been worn. You want to buy a spray for the carpets and thoroughly vacuum and then discard the vacuum bag. Since this is your third time, maybe you can fumigate the house with a bug bomb.

You usually have to stay outside of the house for hours but this will help to make sure you get rid of the lice for good. Bombing the house may be a last resort, but it may be necessary at this point. The key is to do all these things I mentioned on the same day.

.

It only takes one adult female louse to begin an infestation. A female louse can lay several eggs each day. Within a couple of weeks a child may have dozens of immature lice living on his/her head.

The more lice present, the more quickly the child will begin feeling an "itchy" scalp which would usually lead to an inspection by a parent or school official. Looking for one louse or one nit might be difficult but dozens should be readily apparent through close inspection.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
