Yes, standard Nicad AA rechargeable batteries can be used with the GPSMAP 295. There is no NiCad battery pack available from Garmin for the GPSMAP 295 as there is for the GPSMAP 195. The battery level indicator in the GPS is calibrated for alkaline batteries.
Using NiCad batteries in the GPS will cause the battery level indicator to display differently due to voltage and discharge pattern differences. Therefore, to display the battery level accurately select the appropriate type of battery being used (alkaline or NiCad) by accessing the System tab on the Main Menu page of the GPSMAP 295. Use the rocker keypad to select the battery section on the lower left side of page.
Press Enter to select the battery type and then Enter again to save the setting. Please note that while using the cigarette adapter for the GPS power source, the NiCad batteries do not charge. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
