Can Obamacare be repealed?

If there is a vote to repeal and it passes the house, what if a number of Democratic senators fearing the 2012 elections vote to repeal. What if they override Obama's veto? The House democrats who were kicked out of office in 2010 don't have any love lost for Obama.

Your so-called "free market" (read "unregulated") got us into this economic mess. It nearly brought down the world economy as well as ours, and may not be behind us yet. So, no I don't think so.

Ask the 50 million Americans with no health coverage, maybe they like the free market in private insurance.

And what if the democrats realize that if they stand fast to the principle of "take care of the people" then the republicans will simply remind the rest of the nation WHY we fired them in 2008 .

Hope springs eternal. I hope it is repealed before I have to talk to my doctor about end of life choices. If my doctor talks me into dying so he can sell my organs to other hospitals is that unethical?

Yes, but Congress will need the 2/3 to override the obvious veto President Obama will slap on the attempt.

Eventually if the majority of the people want it repealed and I think we can tell from the last election what the majority wants.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
