Can a parent who gave you a gift down payment on home with letter stating gift to original mortgage co since refinanced 4 times and no copy of gift letter kept or able to get put a lien on home?

If this was a true "gift" then that would mean no repayment. I would say it is highly unlikely that a lien can be put on the home.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
