Two years ago is a long time. Any healing has been long completed and if there is anything else that can be done, you need to see a vet and have it x-rayed and otherwise checked. If your dog is that special to you, why in blazes have you waited two years?

Of course hes been to the vet,one wanted to amputate his whole leg,when he still can run on it,as well as walk on it 75%,and the other wanted to take off the toe in question,that he stumps,or drags at times,and resulted in it bleeding,and him favoring it. That was what my question was,I was wandering with his paw being lame,can he feel this,or is he favoring it,because he can smell it? Iam at a loss,what to do,if they take the toe,than it will prouboubly just happen again with another toe.

If he cant feel it,than ill just continue wrapping it up before walking him,or putting his boot back on him although,I have found nothing that will stay on,thru out his walk. I cant keep taking him to the vet with these options,besides I am unemployed at that time,and need help if its out there with this exspense. I love Duke hes the child I never could have.

He is my whole reason for living,other wise I wouldnt be sitting here reaching out for answers. I appreciate any Advice if its thru experience,or expertise only! Of course the obvious is go to the vet,and of course as I said I did.

The dog across the street from me had a similar problem. He broke his foot and the bones just wouldn't heal. In his case, amputating the toe allowed him to stop limping.

But I don't know if it will work for you.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
