I haven't done calculations on the estimates, which are spurious, at best. However, it appears that a few more of the illegal immigrants are going home than are coming to the USA, therefore, opening up more jobs for US citizens and legal immigrants. Of course, with the DREAM Act, that will change and as soon as the DREAM Act children can sponsor their parents' and extended families' immigration, they will add to the welfare and social security roles as well as the unemployment roles, so we can expect future long range increases in unemployment after this shortterm decrease.
I read that story today too! The first line said= the ones who give up looking for a job are no longer counted! With food stamps and welfare going up 30% in the last 4 years I think not!
Soon more people will be on welfare than working then what?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
