It's prioritizing patients based on the severity of their condition This rations patient treatment efficiently when resources are insufficient for all to be treated immediately. The term comes from the French verb trier, meaning to separate, sort, sift or select. Sources: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triage .

Simple simple. It means separating incoming patients into three groups (usually in a crisis situation): (1) Those that are soo badly off, nothing can be done for them. (2) Those that are so well off, nothing need be done for them.(3) Those in the middle-- sick enough to need treatment, but well enough so treatment will do them some good..

Yes, it's spelled "Triage" and it is the doctor(s) assessment of which of the many patients to treat. Initiated in war (when they started getting the wounded off the battlefields in wars, thank you very much Florence Nightingale), the doctors then had to decide intelligent uses of their scarce resources (20,000 wounded + 20 doctors = someone doesn't get a doctor! ) "Triage" is the medical word for deciding who is going to die anyway, so we'll let him, and who might live if we take the time to whack his leg off now..

Triage is a way of prioritizing treatment to people in a catastrophic situation... In a catastrophic situation with many wounded people, one must use the available resources wisely. Perhaps there are only so many operating tables, so many doctors. What will you do?

Triage in its basic form splits the wounded into three groups. 1. Those individuals who will not survive, even if they are given treatment.2.

Those individuals who will survive without immediate treatment. 3. Those individuals who must receive treatment immediately for survival.

Clearly, it is those in group 3 who must be attended to first. It is also important to watch the other groups for changes in their situation, and when those in group 3 have been tended to, to return to treat the rest. Sources: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triage .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
