I suffer from an anxiety disorder, and I know how rough it can be. I have gone through years where life felt easier, and other times where I didn't feel like I was me because I was so anxious and depressed. I know it must be hard when you are 17, especially in regards to your parents.
I am now twice your age, and I can tell you that it will get better. Therapists can really help. Try it.
The best type of therapy to directly help an anxiety disorder and depression is cognitive therapy. They help you with your thoughts, and how to help you cope through scary thoughts which can make anxiety and depression worse. My parents don't believe in therapy, and yet they don't want to hear about my anxious thinking either.
Take care of yourself, help is out there. See if you can talk to your primary doctor, or school counselor for some referrals.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
