Can someone tell me what "it's complicated" means when referring to relationship status?

It means there is much more going on behind the scenes than they wish to reveal, discuss, or get into. It means there is a back story as well as feelings they don't want to share.

It means either (a) "I'm trying to figure it out myself" or (b) "I know but I don't want to share" or (c) "Please ask me about it, but not in a public forum!

It's complicated" can also mean that it takes a long time to explain before someone who isn't involved in it would understand or sympathize with their reason for continuing the relationship. Usually in reference to conflicted emotions.

That usually means that the person him/herself does not know and/or it really is complicated and they'd just as soon as not have to discuss it with you.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
