It should not take that long to dry your cloths. The most common problems are: 1. Over loading the dryer (your fault) 2.
Lint clogging the vents and filters. (your duty to clean out). 3.
Broken belt causes the dryer not to tumble. (maybe your fault, maybe not). 4.
Broken heaters. They are pretty easy to diagnose. Run a cycle and see it if heats.
If not, that;s your problem. Open the door, hold the door switch closed to the dryer will run with the door open, and turn it on. If it doesn't spin, that's your problem.
If either of these two is the case, tell them specifically the problem and have them fix it. Do so in writing. Before the next service person leaves, make sure they fixed the problem.
If its not those two, then you need to clean the filters and run smaller loads. The dryer is functioning properly. You aren't going to win the battle over electricity.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
