Can spodumene be used in enamels?

Spodumene improves the fusibility, gloss and opacity and increases abrasion and acid resistance. Also, it lowers the coefficient of thermal expansion for a better fit to the substrate. It is possible to achieve a thinner coat with Li2O containing enamels.
