Can the Canon HG10 Camcorder copy video directly to the Mini SD Card or just still images?

Unfortunately NO... Still pictures only... It's amazing that Canon didn't offer a possibility of recording video on the SD card as well as still pictures. The SD card on HG10 model can only hold stills just like HDD of the drive can hold only video - any still snap will go to memory card. The camera offers 40GB of HDD space.It's just amazing that we live in a time of common high-speed SD cards with capacities of 16GB that would allow about an hour of high-def video, with speed transfer enough to support video stream.

Panasonic already have that kind of camcorders. I wonder why would Canon drop the ball there...

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
