Can the Mediterranean diet prolong my life?

A study in Journal of the American Medical Association reported that women and men over the age of 70 who adhered to special diets and a healthy lifestyle and were followed over a period of 12 years had a significantly lower death rate over the course of the study (more than 50 percent lower) than other individuals of the same age. The participants who lived longer ate a Mediterranean diet and adhered to a healthy lifestyle (regular exercise, no smoking, and moderate alcohol). The Mediterranean diet is high in fiber and low in fat, with legumes, nuts, whole grains, fish, olive oil and lots of fruits and vegetables.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
