Science deals in the investigation of cause and effect. There is no known phenomenon that has ever been shown to be without a first cause. Even causes have causes, which ultimately would be traced back to the first cause of the universe.
So far science has not produced a bit of evidence of a spontaneous first cause. In the absence of that, any purely materialistic cause for the universe falls apart. Non-theists rest in their faith that "someday we will find out, but for now we just don't know."
But the theistic view maintains that God is an eternal immaterial being who possesses all power and intelligence. The fact that He is immaterial fits perfectly with a transcendent first cause. And furthermore, the idea that God is eternal and immaterial has been a documented tenet of belief for at least 3500 years, long before humans had any idea that it would be impossible for matter to be eternally existent.
Science simply has no answers for our ultimate origins, only theories . . .
. And an immense amount of blind faith that someday they'll figure it all out.
Many people believe these point to God. I would look up those arguments and watch some of the debates with Dr. William Lane Craig, Dr. John Lennox, and Dr. Stephen Meyer. ============ CRR is right about the miltiverse.
In order to rescue the alternative of chance, they have been forced to adopt the remarkable hypothesis that there exists an infinite number of randomly ordered parallel universes. Somewhere in this infinite ensemble, there will be finely tuned universes that appear by chance alone. We just happen to be in one such universe.
As it’s been said, there’s just one problem with the Multiverse—there is no independent evidence that it exists; arguments for the multiverse are built by stacking conjecture upon conjecture upon conjecture. This is clearly a desperate attempt to try to avoid the obvious. As Physicist Dr. Rob Sheldon summed it up, “Multiverse-theory is designed for one purpose, and one purpose only, and that is to defend atheism.
It makes no predictions, it gives no insight, it provides no control, it produces no technology, it advances no mathematics, it is a science in name only, because it is really metaphysics” (The Multiverse Gods).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
