Kramer! Hair split ends, actually, can be prevented but if you already have it then you will need to exert extra effort in order to bring your hair back to life. I had experienced split ends before but that was too mild compared to what my sister-in-law had experienced, because she often ironed her hair so she burned it.It was only healed when she used horse shampoo.
So my own tips for preventing split ends from getting worse are: 1) Avoid brushing or combing your hair when it’s wet. Pat only with hair towel, don’t rub.2) Trim your hair every month like 1 cm in length, just the tips.3) Avoid using blower and iron often because heat can dry hair up and causes split ends.4) Use only silk pillowcases in order to prevent split ends.5) Avoid changing hair color so often because it also dries the hair up.6) Apply hair serum for split ends in order to restore its life. There have been claims made by manufacturers about various products that they have developed saying that their product can repair split ends. So far there is no indication that any of them actually work. So I'm afraid that the only way to deal with split ends is to have them cut off.
Once they are gone, take care of your hair so that they do not occur again. The best ways of doing this is by using a conditioner after every shampoo, and every couple of weeks use an intensive conditioner at least on the ends. Serum is a great help for protecting and adding shine.Be careful not to use heated appliances for too long on your hair, try using your hairdryer on a lower setting.
Sunshine is very drying to hair, so try wearing a baseball cap or other headgear if you have to spend a lot of time outside when the sun is out.
Kramer I use a hair product that can help you with the split ends, it's Pro Naturals Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment with Heat Protector which strengthen the hair, reduces the frizz, protects the hair from heat damage and repairs the hair, it leaves the hair soft, shiny and resilient, I use it and it's really good, I used to have a lot of split ends and now my hair is healthy again.
