Textbooks can be a very expensive part of going to college. Many cost a good $100 or over to buy new. Thankfully there are alternatives to spending this kind of money.

Renting textbooks or buying used can be much better on the wallet and there are numerous places on the internet to do so. Rentals are great if you will not keep the book for longer than the semester. Many rentals can be had for less than 50% of the retail price.

Personally I believe buying used books are the way to go simply because you can resell them many times for practically what you paid. Once you have bought used books the price does not really go down further unless you abuse the book so the condition is downgraded. Another thing to watch out for is that textbooks have new editions coming out on a regular basis.

If you buy one used and by the end of your course a new edition comes out you may have a hard time reselling it since everyone will want the new edition. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
