I always look at unanswered first when I come on, but the thing is...they are always so pinpointed and so specific in the field of knowledge that it is quite hard to answer. I scanned several of the pages, but I'm afraid I couldn't help much. The questions are mostly very specific, and not easy to answer unless you happen to have knowledge of that very thing. That's probably why they remained unanswered in the first place.

I guess a visit to professional guitar tech could only answer that custom guitar wiring. mahalo.com/answers/guitar/is-it-possible... Doing further reasearch online on my own got me thinking of more custom wiring jobs to be done my Strat. Like a Fender S1 switching (if I could find one), Volume boost mod and TBX tone control mod.

Its a bunch of guitar geek stuff. None of my friends are into those stuff. It would be nice if I could do it myself and avoid paying a pro to do it.

But I have limited skill in electronics and I would like to learn how to mod my own guitar.

I found four I could answer. Man, some of those questions! I don't even know what they are talking about.

Well I managed to get two questions answered, hope that we can get them all out of the way for everyone. Suggestion, Mahalo should try allowing askers to specify a time frame for the question to die a natural death... Someone last week asked a question about going to a bar in London after a show that night,,, if they could put a, say 24 hour lifespan to their question, that one and a bunch of others would not be there anymore now.

I'm maxed out for the day. For about the last week, I've been going through the unanswered, oldest first. It seems to be thinning out a little.

When I first started I don't think I made it to the questions that were only 17 days old before my voting privileges ran out. Next best thing - I second Jeff's call to please clear these questions out! If everyone does this today and maybe tomorrow, we should be up to date in no time!

Sorry can't answer particular queries this time but I believe there's a positive side to it if we got undecided questions in Mahalo Answers...who knows those who are signing up every day can have field to shoot the bird or just their expertise! In that way, we get the best answer or just the right one! Otherwise we're not truthful to it.

I looked through them from the oldest ones up to today's. The one on Judy Blume I'd spent quite some time on without being able to find the answer when it was first posted. I did answer the one on bouquet garnis, which was miscategorized under "Beauty/Style"!

Been there. Done that. I periodically check the old questions.

Some of the ones that are really old, I just don't have a clue. Although, every once in a while after looking at something repeatedly, the light shines.

Admittedly, some of my answers are not very long because I tried to stay in the 90 character twitter limit while still providing a helpful answer.

This is very discouraging. I do not already know the answer to a single one of these questions. I am consoling myself with the fact that they all deal with quite specific areas of "expertise," which is probably one reason why they were unanswered in the first place.

When I have time later, I will try some research to see if I can clear at least one of these little suckers. Nice "question. " Good idea.

I read through them but didn't see anything interesting. Many of them are twitter stuff.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
