Can you make a living writing for ad-revenue sharing sites?

You can if you are willing to work as hard at it, or harder, than a conventional day job. And be ready for it to take years to build up the income.

I have been living off of income from article writing on ad-revenue sharing sites for about three years now.

Wonderful answers thank you! Great links too :D.

I know it's rare people do make enough but I love hard work so going to give ait a good shot :P Never know you might see my mug-shot on the success stories page one day ;).

I did make a living from my online income after building up my career for five years, but since Panda, I have found it impossible and have since resorted to going back to work. I'd say its incredibly difficult these days. Thanks, Google!

In my experience, no. I enjoy posting articles on HubPages, but the money I earn definately falls under the category of "extra income. " I've read hubs by other authors that earn much more money here than I do, but my understanding is that they spend a great deal of time promoting their hubs and submitting the links to different search engines and sites like Redditt and Digg.

This has to do with how much work you are willing to put into all of your websites, and how much income you consider to be "a living". Some people can live much frugally than others. It also takes a great deal of time for your work to be known as valuable content by the search engines.

Please see hubpages.com/success/ to get an idea about your best case scenario.

Take a look at this article, and you will find the answer to your question. :) infobarrel.com/blog/ This is on another revenue sharing site, but you will not believe what this guy makes every month. Also, take a look at the number of success stories here on Hubpages too.

Amazing! Hope this helps answer your question!

Nope sir! -Does it guarantee a fixed monthly income?

Not anymore...the days of huge eHow monthly payouts are long gone. I should not say that it is not possible, but I will say that you would need a ton of good SEO'd content in order to actually make a living. I mean a TON....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
