I do best with Suite 101 and infobarrel.com. Suite 101 pays my electric bill with some left over every month. Infobarrel is slowly growing.
I get a Starbucks awake tea with my Factoidz payment with only a few articles up. Squidoo revenue is growing, too. I can now get two Starbucks a month.
I have yet to make a decent amount at Xomba, Associated Content (except for upfront payments) or Bukisa. I haven't put much of an effort in at those sites yet, though. If I had time to write several hundred new articles for each site, I'd probably stick with Suite, Infobarrel and Squidoo.
Until a few days ago my largest revenue shares were coming from Mahalo. Now that the change has taken place my largest will come from Suite 101. I don't have a lot of articles there but it is my largest per article average.
I also have content at Associated Content which draws page revenue but I have not promoted or written there in almost a year. In the six months I tracked my Mahalo pages, they drew pages views exceeding what my AC pages have done in 2 years.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
