Can you make med. Brown hair, blonde, without bleach? I want to color instead of highlight.

I get my hair highlighted but the hair that isn't highlighted is too dark. I'd just rather have all of my hair colored to be blonde but without bleach. What volume of peroxide will be used?

If its medium brown or darker............BLEACH is the only way unless you find a colorist whos good enough to use 80 volume developer and they are extrenly hard to find. Also ANY haircolor you put on, on top of YOUR highlights that isn't GOLD BASED will turn your highlights GREEN. I have spent HOURS & HOURS of my life correcting GREEN HAIR!

Bleach is like DEATH & INCOME TAX it is FOREVER until its cut off. You cannot just change your mind and throw what ever color you want on top of it.............Green will take over unless it has that GOLD BASE. You cannot use a hiarcolor to achieve Blond hair on natural darker hair...........you see what happens everyday...go to the MALL, look out your window...............There is ALOT of under processed hair....orange, yellow & every where in between.

But knowing how dark your actual hair is would be helpful .

You can do it w/o bleach just make sure you get a dye several shades lighter than you want and it evens out. I never use bleach or peroxide (only amonia free, all natural dyes for my hair so I don't get any damage) and it works just as well. Try the "green tree" brand of all natural dye.It does kinda smell like compost while its on (yuck I know) but the conditoner it comes with makes your hair smell amazing.

I went medium blonde once (i have naturally black hair! ) by using the "sweet baby blonde" dye. Good luck!

If your hair is truely a medium brown even a 40 volume will only make it reddish A medium brown natural hair color would have to be pre-lightened to make it blonde. Even using a 40 volume peroxide would only bring it up so far and it would be very brassy. Sources: professional stylist .

I liked Loreal but they are all about the same. If you have red undertones you need the ash or cool colors. Go to the store and get a kit it has everything you need in it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
