Can you network two computers together that share a modem router to connect to the Internet using that modem router?

Yes, you can. You have to a modem, a switch/router and if you don't have wireless cards in your computers 2 lan cables (+ 1 cable to connect the router and modem, usually it's included in the router package). Connect one of your 3 cables to the modem and the router.

Modem has only one lan port. Routers usually have about 5, you need to coneect the cable in the port with signature internet ot wlan. After that connect your computers to the router.

Check DCHP server settings, and settings for lan adapters in your computers (it should be, to ge IP automatically). After start the modem if you didn't turn it on yet, if you did that restart it. The same you have to do for the router.

Everything should work fine. If you have more question feel free to ask.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
