Don't need to die to find out. Thinking would do the trick.
If a god existed, interacted with the universe, and was not attempting to be purposefully deceitful, yes I believe you could. However we cannot as no gods exist.
I can no more prove to you that God is real than you can prove that the universe is all that exists. Your demand of proof precludes acknowledgement of many types of evidence because your presuppositions don't allow it. The universe exists. It is not infinitely old.
If it were it would have run out of energy long ago. Therefore, it had a beginning. The universe did not bring itself into existence.
Since it was brought into existence by something else, I assert that God is the one who created the universe. What evidence exists that could prove the existence or non-existence of God? Does God exist?
First, the non-existence of God cannot be proven. One cannot prove a universal negative. Alternatively, the existence of God is provable.
The concept, design, and intricate details of our world necessitate an intelligent designer. Both direct and indirect evidence for God’s existence are well known and well documented. Nothing in history is better known or better documented than the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We even use the year of s birth as the basis for our calendar. He perfectly matched the over 100 unique Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament regarding life, death, and resurrection. The laws of probability cannot give us a reasonable explanation for either the Messianic predictions or the resurrection, let alone both by the same person.
Not real heavy on science, but my common sense is good. How about cause and effect? We know a motor can run because of the operation of unseen magnetic fields.
We know that the universe has to come from somewhere and the complex life around us is evidence of Intelligent Life and Design. Unseen yes and God? -YES!
It is a false dichotomy you have posed. There is not any scientific evidence of any god, but that does not mean the only other option is to die to find out. In fact, even if there was a god, dying does not necessitate finding out that it exists.
Just as if there was a god, it does not necessitate an afterlife exists. Another option to your original question would be to find out by means of elimination. Science gathers evidence, and then that evidence, and logic and reason are used to prove something exists.
Without science available to provide evidence, only logic and reason are left to stand upon. Nothing can be proven to exist on logic and reason alone. However, things can be shown to NOT exist by logic and reason alone.
For example, a circular triangle could never logically exist - and no evidence needs to be provided for this claim. So we analyze if there are not any gods rather than if there are. Logically, it is not possible for there to be any god.
Now you know, and you didn't have to die to find out!
(There has to be a god) I think I would rather go to heaven then take the risk and go to hell!
Get your own avatar, you, you, avatar thief!
Just the opposite, science proves that god is a fairy tale.
Raise your eyes high up and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who is bringing forth the army of them even by number, all of whom he calls even by name.
Due to the abundance of dynamic energy, he also being vigorous in power, not one of them is missing. Isaiah 40:26 Scientist readily agree to the billions of stars in our galaxy, but our Creator, Jehovah God knows the name of each on of them!
No but I have theory about this you may be interested in. Here it goes: what if God is a scientist? What if God is not as all powerful and omnipotent as we've been led to believe, but just abnormal average humanoid type of being like ourselves but comes from a civilization that is literally trillions of years more advanced than our own.
Maybe this civilization exists in a completely separate universe from our own and maybe this other universe is trillions of years older than ours. Maybe this civilization of humanoid type of beings finally were able to end war, poverty, and disease on their planet. They were finally able to save their planet's eco system before it was to late and achieved the ultimate goal of biological immortality or real eternal life.
They already had primitive nuclear technology like we have now but they finally achieved the ability to create matter from energy instead of turn matter into energy which is what our nuclear reactors and bombs do now. The super collider in Europe is designed to create matter from energy by smashing sub atomic particles together, and is an attempt to recreate the big bang! What if "God's" civilization of humanoid type of beings were finally able to not only live forever by achieving cellular regeneration in their own physical bodies but achieved the ability to "create" other universes through the same technology as the super collider but way more advanced.
If our species doesn't end up wiping ourselves out through war, disease, or environmental destruction it's quite possible we could achieve the technology to become "Gods" too. We wouldn't have to wait till we die anymore to find out if God exists anymore because we ourselves would become "The Almighty, The Omnipotent, The Creator of heaven and earth"!
Science studies the natural realm. God is in the supernatural realm. You cannot, therefore, scientifically prove the existence of God.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
