Can you recommend a dishwasher that's quiet and low to mid-range in price?

One brand is know for quietness... And that is Bosch. My Bosch dishwasher is so quiet that I can only notice it running when water coming out and down the drain. Every model from Bosch is very very quiet, and that is whey their products are more expensive, but you can always buy the lowest model, which can be in the 500 range when on sale.

That is should be considered a mid-range price. Lowest Bosch model still comes with enough NECESSARY features, including stainless steel inside. Gher end models have all those advanced features, but you have to ask yourself what you really need.

Many people buy dishwashers from Sears, and I recommend them too. But, don't buy when they have regular prices only. They have sales often though, so watch out for deals.By the way, Consumer Reports say Bosch models are rated highest in performance but have slightly higher repair rate than some other mainstream brands, but mine has never have a single problem, since 2003.

Dishwashers I ws looking for the same things (quieter) when I went looking a year ago. The one I had was a 12 year-old Whirlpool, and it was dying. I bought a GE.It is alot quieter than my Whirlpool was.

It is not noiseless, but still much quieter. The price, if I remember correctly, was $239. I got it at a local appliance/furniture store, so I probably paid more than if I had traveled and gone to a Home Depot or Lowes, etc. But it was delivered the same day and installed, so this was more convenient.

It also has a much deeper inside than the old one did, so my larger pots and pans fit. Anyhow, hope this helps.

I like this dishwasher.... I’ve had 2 Whirlpool dishwashers in 2 different houses. I bought them both new, so they were my choice, they weren’t something that was thrust upon me. This last one is especially quiet.

What I also like about them is they have the silverware holder in the door. That leaves more room inside for the dishes. A builder told me years ago to never buy one with it inside.

Personally, I don’t buy anything but Whirlpool appliances. They have all ranges of prices, depending on what all the bells & whistles are on it. I don’t remember what we paid for it.

Nothing is quieter than a bosch, we bought ours at sears about 3 years ago. Our living room and kitchen are very open and being able to use the living room in peace, or watch TV was important. Our bosch makes very little noise, less than our hood fan for the stove.

A low end model might be good for you you really don't need the all the options with this one, and if you find one on sale your looking at about $700-750 but it is so worth it. They don't vent hot steam into your house, they don't have/ need a drying cycle. And it is the only one on the market that accually reaches 160 Deg.To be sure your dishes are stearile.

I'm not sure this is what you will consider mid-range but it's the only dishwasher I'll buy. Sources: remodeler, contractor. Bosch owner .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
