I have two... the one I use the most is: Screen Hunter Free wisdom-soft.com/downloads/downloadfiles.htm Another is: Jing (this has a Windows and Mac version), it also does video. jingproject.com/ I like Jing better for Mac and Screen Hunter for Windows.
If you mean video, Fraps maybe: fraps.com/ Though it also does normal screen captures.
SnagIt. Don't waste your time with anything else. Does everything you could possibly want and you just hit PrtScrn.
Wish they had it for apple.
Jing is easy to use, and works with both the PC and the Mac. jingproject.com.
Maybe this is going to sound stupid, but I use the "Prnt Scrn" button on my laptop. No software needed, just hit the button and the image is in your clipboard. You can then save it and edit it in any other photoshop-like program.
If you're looking for image editors, I like GIMP, which is free and works like a charm!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
